Election News, FilteredElection News, FilteredNever let it be said that the USA is short of any Election News filtering process. In some ways, Election News Filters are a good thing. As Jimmy Stewart reminded us in “ Harvey ” “a little conflict is good because it shows that everyone is paying attention” The talking heads are paying too much attention to themselves and not enough attention to detail. Everybody has an agenda. Quite honestly, when they run out of News to report, talking about how they “feel” about the News they just reported, can become a bit much. It seems that giving the public the salient points of a story is insufficient. One is forced to retrace the telling of a story and look for what wasn’t said as much as what was said just to find out what happened. Now that’s Election News Filtered!
Election NewsCNN has shown their true, left wing bias so often and so obviously that they have been know as the Clinton News Network. The coverage from Anderson Cooper has been almost rude in its dismissal of the other candidates. David Gergen and Candy Crawly used valuable air time to discuss all details regarding how Hillary felt after her near breakdown earlier in the day. Gergen has decided that the incident where the Commander and Chief want-to-be fighting the urge to shed a tear, revealed Hillarie’s more vulnerable side. He neglected to mention that a candidate who cries when she doesn’t get what she wants may not be a good thing for the Country. Watchers of the News gave a collective heave when he came out with that one. Crawley , not to be kept in the shadows, has indicated that Clinton needs to take a broader view of the election in order to beat, really beat the evil Obama. Crawley has been known, in the past, to take a broad view whenever the subject of the Clinton’s is on the table. The point was that Hillarie’s position as the pre-ordained, darling of the left media, is still in tact. CNN doesn’t simply filter the Election News, they chew it, digest it and regurgitate it for us. Obama may put a kink in their arrogance and do it in short order. They will need an entirely new filter once he dominates the picture.Election NewsOn the Republican side, both Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin have pretty much decided that they will be the ones to sink the Huckabee candidacy. Each of them have elaborated on their dislike of Huckabee and taken substantial time out of their respective radio shows to do it. It seems they find Huckabee to be liberal in much of his voting record as Governor. Both allude to a general trend rather than to specific incidents and neither seem to be willing to concede that Huckabee may have something unique to offer. Listening to each of them brings to mind just how used they are to dealing with insiders and how Huckabee, as an uncooperative outsider, presents a challenge. Implied in their discussion is that Huckabee should be begging their support on bended knee rather than simply continuing to win over voters. Where does Huckabee get the nerve to run a campaign without their blessing? So far Huckabee has had to take on the Washington, Republican elites, the other Republican candidates and now the Republican support media. It will be a relief for him to simply take on an opposing candidate. The reporting of the other candidates has remained fairly vanilla By www.rara.us Writers
